Application ProcessA maximum of 28 students are selected each spring to enter the professional portion of the program the following fall. In order to be eligible for entrance into the Veterinary Technology Professional Program students must meet the following criteria:
Applications for admission to the Veterinary Technology Professional Program at North Dakota State University will be evaluated on a 100-point scale according to four criteria: academic performance, experience with the veterinary profession, a reference from a veterinary technician or veterinarian, and two general references. Maximum possible points in each category are: Academic performance - 60 points - calculated by
multiplying the cumulative NDSU GPA x 15. (For example, if you have
an NDSU GPA of 3.0 that will be worth 45 points out of the maximum
of 60 points.) Reference from a veterinarian or veterinary technician - 10
