ScholarshipsThere are three specific Veterinary Technology scholarships offered to students in the second year of the professional program. National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA) and AKC provide scholarships to Student Members of NAVTA. Follow this link to learn more. website LuAnn Lee Memorial Scholarship, administered by the North Dakota Veterinary Technician Association, offers a $500 scholarship to a veterinary technology student who is entering the second year of the professional program . Applications and guidelines can be obtained from Teresa Sonsthagen, her contact information is on the Faculty page. North Dakota Veterinary Medical Association Auxiliary offers a $250 scholarship that is selected by the scholarship committee of the Animal and Range Sciences Department. This scholarship is available to North Dakota residents doing their externship in North Dakota. Other scholarships are available through the College of Agriculture, Food Systems and Natural Resources and the Department of Animal & Range Sciences
